Environmental Services

FuelSafe performs the following environmental services. All are conducted by a Chartered Environmental Surveyor (MRICS):

Stage I and II Environmental Risk Assessments,
Including remediation schemes and validation programmes, specialising in bioremediation projects throughout the UK, liaising with the Clients, other Contractors and Regulatory Authorities.

Environmental Audits,
We will visit site(s) and perform a full environmental audit. The audit will cover all current environmental policies, current practices and look at the best options. We can also investigate climate change levy applications and help companies apply for grants.

Site Investigation work,
Through site-specific design and field work including; soil sample collection in the form of window sampling, rotary drilling, cable percussion drilling, trial pitting, groundwater monitoring and hazardous ground gas sampling and report writing.

Fuel Tank Environmental Risk Assessments,
Based on the recent Groundwater Protection Code legislative requirements and providing a complete service thereafter to investigate potentially contaminated soils and groundwater and offering remedial solutions should contamination be encountered.

Guidance criteria for soils and groundwater,
Including QRA (Quantative Risk Assessment) modelling.

Asbestos Surveying.

We can also offer the following administration services:

- Undertaking site audits and assisting with the preparation of planning applications.

- Preparing cost sheets, budgets and proposals for project work including Phased Environmental Risk Assessments and Remediation schemes.

-Setting out requirements of ISO 14001 and Environmental Management Systems.
